Product Information

After a decade of popularity, the Sawtooth II has been upgraded to the Sawtooth X. It keeps all the original features and adds more. With a modern look, it also has technical improvements. The True Tread outsoles have multidirectional lugs and extra teeth for better acceleration and deceleration. The increased lug spacing helps shed mud, and the additional siping provides great traction on wet surfaces. The Sawtooth X series commemorates the 10th anniversary of the original Sawtooth hiking shoes. It features oiled nubuck leather and CORDURA® fabric mesh uppers for protection and breathability, keeping your feet dry and comfortable. The REPREVE® laces and webbing are made from recycled PET polyester. There's a micro-injected polyurethane window underlay. The O FIT Insoles™ offer an excellent fit, feel, and performance. Adaptive Cushioning Technology midsoles with TPU heel counters boost comfort. Nylon shanks protect your feet and enhance stability on different terrains. The True Tread rubber outsoles offer improved traction. These shoes are imported. And for every pair sold, Oboz plants a tree in partnership with Trees for the Future.

Using these Oboz men's hiking shoes is straightforward. Just put them on like you would with any regular shoes and you're ready to hit the trails. When wearing them, make sure your feet are clean and dry to avoid any discomfort. If you're going on a long hike, it's a good idea to break them in gradually to prevent blisters. As for maintenance, after each use, remove any dirt or mud from the outsoles and uppers with a soft brush or cloth. You can use a mild soap and water to clean the uppers, but make sure to dry them thoroughly. Avoid exposing the shoes to direct sunlight for a long time as it might damage the materials. If you notice any loose parts or damages, it's best to get them repaired as soon as possible to keep the shoes in good condition.
